Mount Evans

Eli likes watching the washer, but the spin cycle scares him. :)

We drove up Mount Evans last weekend. It's the highest paved road in the US, up to a parking lot at 14,130 ft. The peak (in the background) is a 1/4 mile hike to get up to 14,264 ft.

A view from the summit. We had a hard time getting Eli to look at the camera since he was enjoying the view.

Look at those long eyelashes.

A herd of big-horn sheep looking for food near the parking lot. Too bad Eli didn't get to see them.

Ooo! I like your washer too!

You guys are so cool to take him out hiking. He's going to grow up with it just being a part of life to be active. That is so great. (o:
